What's new in rune Hub.

v1.2.1

  • Fixed a problem where sending a capture or text to the ChatGPT app stopped working after the app was updated in September 2026, showing “Sending cancelled: no input box found in the destination”. The updated ChatGPT app no longer reveals its on-screen parts until another app asks for them. rune Hub now asks the app to reveal them and waits for the input box to appear before sending (only the first send after launching ChatGPT takes 2-3 seconds; later sends are immediate).

  • Improved Launch & Bring to Front. When all windows are minimized, browsers, terminals, and editors now open a new window, while apps such as Photoshop restore an existing window. Apps that are not running are also launched and brought to the front more reliably.

  • Fixed an issue where text sent to an AI app (ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude) could be pasted into the file you copied it from instead of the AI app. rune Hub now confirms the AI app is actually in front before pasting.
  • If the AI app cannot be brought to the front, sending is now cancelled without pasting and you are notified, so the text you copied from is never overwritten.

  • Fixed an issue where text was pasted into the editable box labelled “Edit” inside a ChatGPT reply instead of the question box at the bottom. Text now always goes to the question box.
  • When no input box can be found in the destination, sending is now cancelled with a message instead of pasting somewhere unrelated.
