Line numbers are temporary addresses
Edits move line numbers. Pair a result’s line with a stable chapter identity and nearby words. “Chapter four, Return, after the rain paragraph” remains useful even after lines are inserted above it.
Group nine results by role rather than opening them mechanically: headings, body references, and research notes. Choose the group that matches the editing purpose.
Read the result before moving

When a query produces many hits, scan the file names and line excerpts before opening anything. A definition, a call site, and a comment may contain the same term for different reasons. After Rune Studio moves the caret to a match, read enough surrounding text to identify the section or function before editing. The verified result is that the reported match position and caret position agreed in the tested file. The precise visual path produced by clicking every kind of result row was not established, so this article does not promise one fixed animation or layout.
To avoid editing the wrong tab, check the file name first, make one small change, and run the query again. The remaining count should change in the way you predicted.
